A New Point of View

The Bhagavad-Gita gave me new thoughts. The book is very different from many others that I have read. it is not only in the way written form of stanza, but in the way that it relates to a whole new point of view. It comes from the teachings form a very different culture. Indian practices and ways of thinking is totally different to ours.

In a way, I liked some of the teachings which Lord Krishna would say to Arjuna, but were they hard to understand. It took me sometime to realize what was happening and re-read the teaching to understand what he was trying to say.

I liked when he started talking about the reincarnation because it is something that interests me a lot. How would a second life be? Do we have a life before this one? If there was, how would it be like? This questions have been circling through my mind long time ago.

What I found really weird was death. The way Krishna would tell Arjuna that it didn't matter if he killed them, they would die anyway. It totally contradicts our believes, even so, I cant imagine how would our world be like with that kind of feeling.
